Pingree School—a coeducational day school north of Boston—wanted to more clearly communicate what sets its admissions experience apart: a commitment to seeing and supporting the distinctive talents of every student.
Working in collaboration with our design partners, we guided Pingree through a discovery process that surfaced the school’s enduring promise: an individualized program that gives every student the space, time, and attention to stretch their thinking, explore their capabilities, and develop confidence that lasts a lifetime.
From that foundation, we developed an admissions messaging platform that emphasized both Pingree’s academic excellence and its student-centered approach. The resulting admissions suite—including a customizable viewbook and materials designed for personalization—empowered Pingree to engage prospective students and families with a sense of confidence, possibility, and authenticity.
In aligning the admissions message to Pingree’s highest ideals, we articulated a clear, compelling, and intentionally direct promise of many-leveled meanings that allowed extensive creative freedom around a foundational principle: We See You.

We developed the written content for Pingree’s admissions viewbook and partnered with our design collaborators to bring it to life.
The viewbook was conceived as a series of pieces: a main book complemented by smaller booklets focused on such themes such as arts, athletics, humanities, STEM, curriculum, and more. This modular structure empowered the admissions team to customize the content they shared so it met the interests of individual students and families. These materials go into a custom folder featuring an optical illusion of Pingree’s “P.” This design reinforces the theme of seeing and in crowded environments like school fairs helps draw the eye, ensuring Pingree’s materials stand out.
With the theme in mind, we also focused on photography that emphasized the views and the vision of students, faculty, and staff.
